Privacy Policy

I place great importance on the protection of your data. This Privacy Policy provides comprehensive information on how personal data is used.

Personal Data
Personal data such as, for example, your name, e-mail address, address or other personal information, that you have electronically transmitted on this website, are used only for the purpose stated. They are stored safely and – with the exception of processing necessary for compliance with legal obligations (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act – TKG 2003) – they are not passed on to third parties. If you send your request to me via e-mail (also valid in cases where the contact form is used), my e-mail provider is involved as a processor. In the processor agreement, the processor only collects and automatically saves information such as browser used, operating system, referring page, IP-address, time of access, etc. on the webserver. This data cannot be attributed to any specific person without checking further information sources, and I will not further evaluate this data as long as there is no illegal use of my website.

Forms and comments
When website visitors leave comments or complete form fields, the inputted data and their IP-address will be saved. This is done for security reasons, in case someone posts illegal content (insults, extreme left or extreme right propaganda, hate-posts, etc.). In these cases, I have a vested interest in the identity of the author.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that enable this website to save specific, user-related information on the user’s computer while s/he surfs my website. Cookies help me to determine how often my web-pages are visited and by how many users. They also allow me to structure my services in a way that is comfortable and efficient for you as a user. I use both Session Cookies and Permanent Cookies. Session-Cookies only save your information temporarily during the time that you are on my website, whilst Permanent Cookies save information on users who regularly visit my website. The purpose of these cookies is to be able to offer the best user experience for visitors to the website, and that regular users are recognised and shown contents best suited to their interests. The contents of a Permanent Cookie are limited to an identification number. Name, IP-address, etc. are not saved. There is no single profiling of your user behaviour. You can also use my site without cookies, if you deactivate cookies in your browser, or restrict them for certain websites, or set up your browser (Chrome, IE, Firefox,…) so that it informs you as soon as a cookie is sent. You can also delete cookies from your PCs hard drive at any time. Please note, however, that you might face limitations when viewing or using the site.
Privacy Policy with regard to Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web-analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”. These are text-files that are saved on your computer and that enable an analysis of how you have used the website. The information generated by the cookie is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However, if IP-anonymisation is activated on this website means that Google shortens your IP-address in one of the EU member states or other countries with a European Economic Area agreement, before it transfers the information to the USA server. Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP-address sent to the USA Google server and shortened there. On my behalf as operator of this website, Google uses the information to analyse your usage of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide me with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP-address transmitted to Google Analytics by your browser, is not merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being saved by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser-software; however, I would like to point out that, in this case, you may not be able use all the functions on this website. In addition, you can prevent your website-usage data (including your IP-address) generated by the cookie from being transfered to or processed by Google, by clicking on the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB and downloading and installing the browser-plugin shown there.
You can find more information regarding terms and conditions and data protection on https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or on https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en . I would like to point out that this website has been given the Google Analytics code “gat._anonymizeIp();” in order to ensure that IP-addresses as anonymised (so-called IP-Masking).

This website uses Google Maps to show location information. When using Google Maps, Google also takes, processes and uses information on the website visitors. More information regarding Google data-processing is available in Google‘s Privacy Policy https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=at.
